Are you looking for something new and exciting for your next culinary adventure? Look no further than our new Sunday Tasting Menu. Launching on Sunday 14th May it is our most innovative menu yet, featuring a wide variety of delicious dishes that will surely impress!

We caught up with Jack Tookey, General Manager at the Orange Tree.

“Our Sunday offer has always been very traditional and over the 10 years that we’ve been open it hasn’t really changed all that much. I also feel that the Orange Tree is not necessarily somewhere that you would associate with Sunday Lunch, so we wanted to create a Sunday menu that offered our guests a different experience”

With its vibrant flavours and bright colours, the new tasting menu allows guests to enjoy waves of delicious dishes, expertly prepared and beautifully presented.

The tasting menu is perfect for those who want to experience the best of what the Orange Tree has to offer and what’s even better is you don’t even need to choose! You get everything on the menu!

We asked Jack to talk us through the menu.

“The new menu is going to be great, and people will be able to just sit back, relax and graze. The menu is served in four waves starting with some lovely hot stuffed breads. From there you’ll get served with some sushi, steak nigiri, smoked mackerel and some Manchego tortillas”

And when you have had this there are still two waves to come!

“The third wave is our take on a more traditional Sunday lunch. So you can expect roast beef, roast chicken, and some grilled gammon but it all has a twist and goes perfectly with our roast potatoes and yorkies! Also, no meal is complete without a sweet treat to top it off, so the fourth wave offers a delicious selection of desserts”

Jack can’t wait for you to try the new menu and the chefs have worked hard to ensure that each dish delivers on flavour and enjoyment. So make sure you visit the Orange Tree to give their new menu a go and treat yourself to a relaxed Sunday afternoon of delicious food.
