The expansion of the company has continued in recent months with the acquisition of three new sites which will herald a new era for the group.
The Sheet Anchor in Whitmore was taken over by Parogon towards the end of 2015 and since then we’ve been busy planning a fresh look and new concept. This village local will be transformed into a vibrant destination restaurant while still retaining the cosy pub element at the front of the building with roaring fires, great beers and home cooked food. Work is scheduled to commence this Autumn and will be relaunched in time for Christmas.
The Broughton Arms is a landmark pub near to Betley and has been a popular haunt for diners for many years. We’ve bought the freehold of the site and have obtained planning permission to demolish the old extensions and rebuild a spectacular new contemporary restaurant while still retaining the historical front of the pub. Plans are well underway to get the Broughton Arms open in early 2017 and excitement is building within the company about this prestigious project.
The Boars Head in Walgherton sees us venturing into South Cheshire for the first time. We’ll be taking over the site in 2017 and giving this magnificent building the refurbishment that it deserves within a brand new relaunch.
