I would like to receive news and offers from The Parogon Group

During March 2020 we had planned to close the Wayfarer for two weeks for a significant refurbishment. It had been just over 8 years since the Wayfarer had opened and although it had undergone a number of cosmetic changes, such as new wallpapers and carpets we decided it was time to give it’s contemporary and stylish interior more of a significant overhaul.

Then, the week we were due to close the doors for the refurbishment, we were forced to close our doors for a very different reason… Covid-19.

Fast forward almost 12 months, and we are delighted that we are fortunate enough to find ourselves in the position where we have navigated our way around all the obstacles Covid-19 has thrown at us, so and are able to proceed with the Wayfarer’s refurbishment.

Our Director of Property, Phil Sharp, had this to say about what can be expected;

“The Wayfarer is going to be getting a fairly extensive refurb and I can’t wait for it to get started after an unfortunate delay. Without giving too much away, our guests can expect to see a fresh and vibrant restaurant when they return, and if I was to sum up in a few words what the new look of the Wayfarer will be like, I would say botanical, earthy and floral. We are also going to be incorporating a ‘Living Wall’ perfect for catching those special Instagram moments, something that we can’t wait for people to be able to do again when we can re-open the restaurant.”
